Can you guess what this tree is producing?
So you guessed maple syrup? Oui! You guessed right. This sweet and whole food natural liquid shouldn’t just be used on your pancakes or waffles. Maple syrup is a delicious and unique addition to your healthy 3 to 1 vinaigrette. The delicate balance between the acidic vinegar and the sweet maple syrup makes your salads taste over the top. Every time this secret surprise is splashed in the salad bowl my kids rave and guests ask for the recipe. “It is easy,” I tell them. “Just a splash of maple syrup right before mixing your vinaigrette.” You can use your own vinaigrette recipe and add a splash. Tamari or Soy Sauce
Now, dear readers. Tell me what secret touches do you use in YOUR vinaigrette dressing? Maybe something interesting from your country? Shout it out in the comment section. I promise you that if we can get it here in France we will try it in our standard vinaigrette dressing and let you know the results.
As always, Bon Appetit!
