Tuna Stuffed Peaches Are Easy To Make and Delicious To Eat
What a pleasure when your kids adore cooking and find interest in food and food preparation. Why not start young? My Julia (see photo) who is five years old loves to cook. On a recent class trip she discovered the taste pleasure of sweet peaches “stuffed” with a tuna salad. At home she recreated this dish which you can try yourself. It is so easy to make and all of my kids devour these stuffed peaches. These yellow delicacies are usually served as a starter or add some bread and a yogurt and you have a balanced lunch.

Julia’s Tuna Stuffed Peach Surprise

- 8 oz halved canned peaches with no added syrup (you will need about 8 halved peaches to serve 4)
- 4oz canned tuna in water
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1/4 juice lemon
- pinch dried or fresh herbs such as dill or parsley (optional ingredient primarily to add color)
Optional to try: stuffed apricots or pears.
